Kulturakademin in cooperation with Film i Skåne, BoostHBG and Filmcentrum Syd
PITCHING IS DEVELOPMENT - During the three-day workshop the participants will learn to analyse, prepare and present the key elements of their projects. Focussing on motivation and intention will clarify and help to fine tune the pitch towards the appropriate pitching-partners. Especially the issue of the theme “what is the project REALLY about” and the emotional effect of the project will be worked on. Exercising and understanding the difference between pitching and plotting helps to keep the attention and raise the interest of a B2B-audience.
Furthermore, the personal and individual resources and skills in presenting and communicating a project will be analysed, improved and integrated in the preparation of an efficient pitch. With the help of a camera training any weaknesses in communication- and performance techniques will be analysed and according to the needs of each participant improved.
After an overview of the theoretical and structural elements of pitching & communicating an idea or project in development, the remaining time will be structured with different practical exercises, so that the participants can work and train their pitches according to the individual needs.
The results should be several and different pitch-versions in lengths and approach of the projects the participants are working on. They will have received a “tool-box” for any future and further successful preparation for a pitch.
